5.10 am - Fleet Rail Station, heading to London Waterloo... too early, isn't it? Well, sometimes when you want to achieve something different you've got to suffer. Actually, Elaine and I had a fun conversation about Spanish and Chinese sayings about how sometimes you've got to suffer a little bit to look pretty.

It was raining, cold and windy in London but, as we said if you want to be pretty you've got to suffer... just a little bit. Anyway, we had what we were looking for: London was empty.

The rain stopped and the sun began to rise behind the clouds. Without a shadow of a doubt the perfect setting for their engagement session.

But, what is behind Elaine & Jason's LOVE story? How did they meet? Why did they choose London for their Engagement session? This is what the couple answered:

We have known each other since we were kids as our families go to the same church. However we only got together after we had both started working and now can't imagine being apart. Our first kiss was in London, and London is the place we love to go to get away from the stresses of everyday life. Two of our most memorable dates were in London, going to see a show in the West End for Elaine's birthday and later seeing wheelchair basketball at the Invictus Games. At the end of each date we'd always end up sitting by the Thames waiting to catch the next train home, and that's why London has so many happy memories for us.

Also, the couple had some lovely kind words for me, thanks a lot guys!

“Manu is a really friendly photographer who made us feel really at ease. He has a creative eye for distinctive shots that stand out, and are different to ‘the norm’. We highly recommend him”.
